9/15/09 - My new wife and I spent our honeymoon in Marianne & Dean's condo. In fact, we're still here, but we love it so much that we wanted to get to writing our review. We reserved the condo based on reading other positive reviews, and they were by no means inaccurate. This place is fantastic. I am typically the type who gets bored of being on vacation after 5 days, and I usually want to go home. Not here! We're currently 7 days in, and I am honestly wishing it were still 7 days ago. We've done so much, and had so much fun - and we still have 4.5 more days! Marianne's service is outstanding. I am not sure I have ever encountered a vacation rental owner so outgoing, and so willing to offer her excellent advice on what to do and what to see while in Maui. Marianne provided us with a full book of things to do, based on her own experiences (and on the feedback of others). The condo was very clean upon our arrival, and the updated kitchen & bath is great (was it really necessary to install Viking appliances in a rental?? We don't know, but we are thrilled that you did!) The view from the lanai is like no other - on a clear day, you can see 2 islands, and my wife received a massage from Makai Massage on the lanai. What an experience! We have nothing but great things to say about staying here. We spent a few day just hanging out in the back, swimming in the ocean and the pool, grilling food, having drinks in the sun... and many other days zip lining, jet skiing, at a luau, on a dinner cruise, at nice restaurants on the ocean, etc. An awesome vacation and most definitely a place that I would come back to. We got an amazing deal on the condo as Marianne is a wonderful woman! Thank you so much... we are beyond satisfied.

6/4/09 - ALOHA - Oh my goodness, where do I start. Probably with manners first. Thank you so very much for making your home away from home available to us! We had an absolute wonderful time. First off, the view of the ocean from the lanai is absolutely breathtaking! The condo was super duper clean - I would even say meticulous! You and Dean did not skimp on a single thing in the condo. Upgraded appliances, utensils, etc. You even have great baggies to use for packing lunches for those day trips! The decor was beautiful! I am totally going to copy you on the shower floor! Your book of things to do is awesome! You have already done the homework! All anyone needs to do is show up and begin their vacation! I especially loved the snorkeling out in front of the condo! Who needs Black Rock! I swam with a turtle, I saw a small white eel looking thingy with black dots, a black puffer fish with white dots and lots of fish with stripes! It was so great! Oh yeah not to mention the nightly visits from the turtles by the sea wall! They just swam around and bobbed there heads above water as if to say howdy! I named those two turtles Maui and Zippy. (I am a freak - but who cares!)We loved having dinners on the lanai and watching the sunset almost every night! The mornings are so beautiful too! What a great way to wake up and be alive! The condo/grounds are well groomed and quiet! It was like our own paradise! Anyone reading this - really needs to look NO FURTHER! This condo has it all - even laundry soap! Are you kidding me? Who does that?! I am so happy I found this ad. We will be back. In fact - Can I just live there? I will be your bestest pal ever! LOL - Mahalo Mahalo and many thousand more Mahalos! We loved it!

4/5/09 - Sorry, we are a little late posting our comments about your condo and we apologize. We stayed in your condo last year (Oct. 25 - Nov. 4) and we LOVED it! We arrived at night to the tiki torches and the sound of the ocean. We immediately made dinner and ate outside on the wonderful patio. We loved that the condo was on the first floor and literally 10 feet away to the ocean!! The following days were full of zip-lining, the road to Hana (and we ran into the winery and fell in LOVE with the Maui Blanc. We recently just ordered some new bottles of wine online!), snorkeling w/ the huge sea turtles (right outside the condo which was GREAT), dining in some great restaurants, taking a dinner cruise on the Pacific Whale Foundation (and the food was AWESOME!) participating in Halloween in Lahaina (which is crazy but REALLY fun), and soaking up the sun on the private beach which is only 50 feet away. We really can't wait to go back. The condo had everything we needed and it was so CLEAN! It was great to lounge and catch up on some reading too. Overall, our adventure to Maui was unforgettable and we have the pictures to prove it. We are looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for all your wonderful research on activities and restaurants in the area. We had a FABULOUS time!

1/29/09 - Thank you so much!! Hi Marianne! We received our package from you today! I was so excited when I saw it, we opened it together. The information you provide is priceless and could only be given by someone who has been there and experienced it first hand. We we're so amazed and excited about what you sent, that we drove over to my parents house to show them all the info you provided! This is a great start to what I believe will be the best vacation of my life! I'm already thinking about going next year and we haven't even been yet! We are going to take time to figure out what activities we want to do so we can get them booked asap! Thanks again, and again, ok one more time for everything. 12/7/08 - Thank You so much Marianne and Dean for sharing your piece of paradise with my family. This comment has long been over due from me...but then again I have been in denial ever since returning back to the main land ;) We had a great time spending my husband's 3 week sabbatical/40th birthday in Maui. Our girls had a blast playing everyday in the VERY private pool and beach. It felt like the whole complex was our very own little island. Absolutely heaven for all of us! It has been four months since we were there in August and still wish we could be there. Thank you for taking great care of us and doing all you did to ensure our stay was to our liking. We can't wait to be back again and be a part of your vacationing families ;)

7/22/08 - Marianne, Thank you so much for an amazing experience in Maui. I can't imagine staying anywhere else but your condo on Maui! Every day Munish and I would talk about how lovely your place is, and how glad we are that we didn't stay in a resort! It was private, romantic, well equipped, upscale, extremely clean and tastefully decorated. Your hospitality shines through!!! We did see the turtles, and even snorkeled with them right off of your beach (did not get too close though!). Please feel free to use me as a reference for any future vacationers. And let me know how else I can help, I'm happy to place a shining review.
A few things we really enjoyed on the island: actually, we really like the trip to Haleakala crater, but we did not do the whole sunrise thing. We figured we're here to relax, so we left around 6am to get there (our jet lag had us getting up early, which was great). We did a hike down the side of the crater called Halemanu, which was steep but beautiful. It's a rugged, rough place, and it was nice to see this part of Maui.
Of course we loved all the beaches and snorkeling - we snorkeled almost every day.
The drive along the north coast was gorgeous, and there's a 4 mile hike that can be done near the end of this drive with amazing views.
Eating: we did a lot of cooking at the condo! The fish market and farmer's market were great for that. Also, we liked Sansei's, and we went to Roy's for a splurge (very good).

2/25/08 - Thank-you so much for providing such an awesome place for us to vacation in. Your condo is great with beautiful special touches. My family...daughter (15 yrs) son (19 yrs.) had a ball and we were thrilled to be able to include my mom on our second week. The boys loved playing many of the golf courses close by while the girls enjoyed snorkeling with the turtles out front and watching lots of whales from the lanai. We also enjoyed a fabulous snorkel cruise with Maui Island Adventures and saw spinner dolphins, many whales and snorkeled at two beautiful spots. What amazing memories we have made in such a beautiful place. We will be back and are so thankful for such wonderful hosts of this awesome condo. You were definitely a bonus in making this a very special time. Thanks Marianne and Dean for all your personal touches and making us feel so comfortable in your vacation home. 2/3/08 - Dear Marianne and Dean, WOW!!! What an AMAZING condo!!! It is EXQUISITELY decorated and IMMACULATE!!!! We loved all the first class touches... the flooring, granite, ceiling fans, the comfortable pillows and beds, and the million dollar view. This was by far the nicest place we have ever rented. The boys loved the loft. It is spacious and you can hear the ocean. Thank you for sharing such a gorgeous home!!! We saw whales from the lanai every day!!! We hope to return! Thank you for answering all my emails. If you ever consider selling this condo, we are More than interested!!!

1/25/08 - Aloha Dean & Marianne, WOW!!! Your condo, the pool, and the entire complex are absolutely fabulous. It felt so much like home we wished that we could stay forever. The location is superb and the "views" are simply breathtaking! We really enjoyed the peace and quiet that separates your complex from the larger condo complexes. This was the best vacation that Pamela & I have ever taken. We had it all...gorgeous weather, cruisin' in our convertible, fabulous dining experiences, lots of whales, unbelievable snorkeling, helicopter to Haleakala, and 12 hours on the "road to Hana". Your "Aloha Book" came in really handy and your recommendations were "right on". We cannot thank you enough for the part that you have played in helping us to create such wonderful memories. 1/5/08 - What a wonderful place to spend Christmas!!! We had such a lovely stay in this wonderful condo. The condo is immaculate. The view is divine. Body boarding off the condo's own beach in the morning and snorkeling and swimming in the afternoon was great. I went down to the Hyatt in Kaanapali for a massage at the spa and was horrified with the hoards of people crowded around their pool. No problem with crowds at the condo! We practically had the place to ourselves. We can't wait to come back. It's a wonderful place!

11/25/07 - Hi Marianne, Just wanted to drop a short note to say how very very much we enjoyed our vacation at your condo. Best holiday hands down by far - that we've ever had!! Thanks for all of the great info - you were right on about Warren & Annabelle's - I can see why one lady in the audience had been there 10 times. Your condo was first class all the way, we couldn't have asked for a better place or location - the view and proximity to the ocean were 5+ Star.
Thanks for going the extra mile on all of the info packages, luggage tags, reviews, phone calls etc that you provided both before and during our stay. This helped a lot because to be truthful, we were overwhelmed the first day with the vast array of things to do and see on the island. We can definitely see why almost everyone we talked to keeps coming back to Maui year after year - just like the turtles and the whales!
Hopefully you will have room again for us next year.

6/20/07 - We have been vacationing in Maui for the past five years and Dean and Marianne's condo is by far the best. The luxury appointments were A++. The privacy and intimate setting was just what we were looking for. Great snorkeling just steps from the room.

6/7/07 - We are 'experienced' condo renters and your condo is one of the best we've rented. The view, nightly sunsets & bbq area was just perfect. The condo is in tip top shape and extremely clean ... having a well stocked kitchen was an added bonus! The grounds of the complex are so beautiful. Very nice complex.

07/27/06 - Aloha Maryanne, we so enjoyed our stay at your condo while in transit to our new location a few doors down from you!! Your place is comfortable and everything is so nice and new the king-sized bed is a real treat and the end building location is very nice. We would like to rent from you full time how about it!! We really like the complex property it's so close to all the shopping and restaurants and Front St is a few miles away. I think one of our favorite things on the property are the BBQ's what a treat watching the sunset as your grilling your favorite foods. Mahalo again for letting us stay at your place.

07/12/06 - Let me say first off that this place is SO nice. It is so cozy and we felt right at home. We were so close to the ocean, we couldn't believe it at first.
My new husband and I stayed at your place for our honeymoon and we didn't want to leave. All the special things you did for us was very appreciated, since you knew it was our honeymoon.
We had the time of our life. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay with all the amenities you provide (we felt like we were at our own little Ritz Carlton). We has so much fun surfing and snorkeling right outside and we saw tons of fish and turtles. We were able to sit out on the patio and enjoy those beautiful Maui sunsets you told us about every night while we ate dinner.
Our dream honeymoon would have never been possible if we hadn't stayed at your condo we felt so spoiled!
